A few things to keep in mind
Keep it private
Your note is encrypted before storage. Share the full link only with someone you trust.
One reveal only
Revealing deletes the stored note. The recipient can copy it while it is on screen.
Gone means gone
Expired notes cannot be opened. Once deleted, their contents cannot be recovered.
Privacy and usage
With a supported browser over HTTPS, your note is encrypted in the browser and its key stays in the full link after #. The key is not sent to our server. Without JavaScript or browser encryption support, the server encrypts the note before storing it and can decrypt it.
An optional passphrase protects access in either case. Keep the full link private and send your passphrase through a separate channel.
We retain the minimal metadata needed for expiry, abuse prevention, and sender receipts. Database backups may retain encrypted data until they rotate. Deleting a stored note cannot remove copies saved by a recipient.
This service is provided for personal use. You are responsible for the content you share; do not use it for unlawful content. We cannot recover a lost link, passphrase, or receipt.
